Ribe is the oldest still existing town in Denmark and all of Scandinavia. It has cobbled narrow streets and well preserved houses. We stayed at the old jail, which is now converted to a hotel. 

If you like good vegetarian food and nice wines, you just have to go for something to eat and drink at Barok Bar in Ribe's Main Street. When we were there, they had a fantastic set menu, including wine pairing.
